Our Pastors
Pastor Tony and Samantha are passionate about seeing people believe in Jesus and receive His free gift of eternal life. Pastor Tony holds a seminary degree from Liberty University and Samantha is a mental health therapist. Together they have dedicated their lives to building the local church and helping people. As former Youth Pastors, they each hold a special place in their hearts for young people and enjoy championing the next generation. When not working, they enjoy walks around the neighborhood, trying new coffee shops, relaxing at local parks, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Our Beliefs (Statement of Faith)
-
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and of the same essence. God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all life. God the Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully man, sent to reveal God's love and to redeem humanity through His death and resurrection. God the Holy Spirit is sent to dwell within believers, empowering them to live godly lives, guiding them into truth, and equipping them for ministry.
-
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final and complete revelation of God's will for salvation and the standard for all faith and practice. The Scriptures are fully reliable, trustworthy, and contain everything we need for life and godliness. Through the Bible, God speaks to His people today, and we are committed to reading, studying, and living out its teachings.
-
Salvation by Faith in Jesus Alone
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We are all born in sin and separated from God, but Jesus, through His death on the cross and resurrection, made a way for us to be reconciled to God. We cannot earn salvation by our own efforts, but we must believe in Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross, to be saved. Salvation brings forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and a restored relationship with God.
-
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, consisting of all believers in Jesus, united by the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s mission in the world. The Church is called to worship, fellowship, grow in faith, and serve the world. It is a community of believers who encourage and challenge one another, equipped by the Holy Spirit to carry out the work of ministry. The Church is called to share the good news of Jesus and to make disciples of all nations, reflecting God’s love and justice in every aspect of life.
-
Spiritual Gifts
We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts upon believers to build up the Church and advance God’s kingdom. These gifts are given to every believer to equip them for service, empower them for ministry, and help them grow in Christlikeness. The gifts of the Spirit are diverse and include teaching, healing, prophecy, wisdom, discernment, leadership, hospitality, and others. We believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit and encourage believers to use their gifts with love, humility, and for the glory of God.
-
Baptism
We believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inward change and a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It is a symbolic act of dying to the old self and being raised to new life in Christ. Baptism is for those who have placed their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior and is typically done by immersion. While baptism does not save, it is an important step of obedience and a public declaration of our identification with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.
-
Communion
We believe that communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper, is a sacred and powerful act of remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Through the bread and the cup, we reflect on His body broken for us and His blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins. Communion is a time to renew our commitment to Jesus, to examine our hearts, and to celebrate the unity we share with all believers. We practice open communion, meaning all who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their Savior are welcome to partake.
Our Commitment
We are committed to being a place where people are not only inspired but equipped to live out their faith every day. Whether through worship, teaching, community engagement, or outreach, we are passionate about sharing the life-changing message of Jesus with the world.
